December 2017 Update

News is sifting back to me that Dahveed 2 is getting scarce.  I have the rights to it back, and I'm working on re-printing it as soon as I can.  Right now, I'm waiting on permission to use the same cover.  However, the newly published book may be the author's version, which has some extra material in it.  I'm still debating on what will be best to do.  Let me know your opinions!

  1. I have the original publishing house paperback, the originally published Kindle edition and the Kindle Author's edition. I prefer the author's edition on Daveed 2 because it fills in some gaps in the story line that I found helpful in my understanding.

    1. My apologies for taking so long to answer your query! My suggestion would be to sell the book, or give it away. Perhaps ask your local Adventist Book Center if they know of anyone who wants Dahveed 2. Hope this helps.

  5. @ Deborah Price:
Your comment apparently never made it to the site, although it did get to my inbox. Thanks for your encouragement. At this point, I'm not looking much further ahead than the last book of Dahveed. But, there is another book running around in the back of my head. We'll have to see!

  10. Have you ever considered writing a short story, and publishing as a Kindle short story?

    1. I have been considering short stories, I just need to work out whether I can share my mind between writing and taking care of my father. We'll see what happens this summer. Thanks for the encouragement.

  11. We would love to see the author’s version of Dahveed 2!
Last year we read through Joseph, Ruth & Boaz, and the 5 Dahveed books as a family with our four children. They loved it so much and begged me to read them all again, so we’re doing the same this year as we wait for Dahveed 6! These books have been such a blessing to us. I’m hoping one day to hear you’ve taken on the story of Moses!

    1. I'm glad you're enjoying the books! Thanks for the vote to see the author's version of Dahveed 2. I've just recently worked out the last tangle to publishing Dahveed 1 and 2 on my own. So we'll see how things develop in the near future.

I love the series so much, but I cannot find the 4th or 5th books in print anywhere. It would be really great if those could be re-printed! :D

  14. Terri, My Sabbath school class is going to study the book "Your Spiritual Toolbox" but some of them do not have Kindle capability and have asked me to print a hard copy for them.
I want to ask you as author if I have your permission to do this. I think I need about 5 copies.
I believe you have published this to help people, and the book has made a definate difference in my life and the life of my wife, but as author it is still your right to say no to copying.

  15. Greetings from a reader in Colombia, South America!
I love your books and would love to share them with people in Colombia, but most of them don’t read English. Do you have any plans in the near future of having any of your books translated into Spanish? If you don’t have any plans at the moment, but if this is a prospect that would interest you, I would like to offer my services as translator. I am a Storyteller by profession, with many years of experience in translation and interpretation.
Please let me know where I can contact you privately for more information. Thank you!

  16. Just reading again through your books. I read it aloud to my family who constantly want to hear the engrossing and encouraging storytelling you have given us ! I have shared your books with dozens of other families who all share the joy in the stories you write. Thank you!

As you work through the challenges you are dealing with( family and health) , know that you are included in our prayers. Yahweh uses people today to shine light! You do that in your writings!

  17. Looking forward to Dahveed 6! I was wondering if you've heard of this in your research. I'm thinking you probably already have, but just wanted to share as it was enlightening! (Don't be confused by the title, it is a response to a book, so the writer argues against what the title states): https://www.patheos.com/blogs/lovejoyfeminism/2014/02/ctbhhm-davids-sin-was-all-bathshebas-fault.html

  18. I was recently going to start reading the Dahveed series again, I enjoy them so much. I read them on Kindle so I can have them wherever I have my phone, but #1 said something about an author's edition so I re-downloaded it. However,it turned out to be book 5 not 1. Has anyone else mentioned this? Did I make some kind of mistake? How do I get book # 1 back?

  19. I understand the all consuming care of a parent, as my parents are currently my grandparents’ caregivers! I pray that you have help as you continue to be a blessing to your family. That being said, do you have any guesstimate of when you will start writing/publishing again? I just reread Joseph for the (probably) 10th time and I would love to hear more from you on any Bible Character!
