July 2020

I see it's been three years since I posted anything on this blog!  My apologies for taking so long.  My father just celebrated his 95th birthday, but we are not certain if he will make 96.  Please keep us in your prayers.

A lot has happened, especially due to COVID 19.  The Berrien Springs Adventist Book Center has closed its doors for good.  For those of you wondering where to order my books, please contact the Indiana Adventist Book Center in Cicero, IN.  They are now the primary distributors for me.  I do not have an 800 number for them, but this one will connect you:  317-984-5393.  I also have an email address:  indianaabc@misda.org  and I assume it still works.  If anyone has trouble with it, please respond to this post, and I will work on getting a corrected one.  Feel free to pass the word to others about the shift in distributor.  And thank you so much for your prayers and patience as we all wait for Dahveed 6!

  1. It is good to see your update Terri. I am glad your father was able to celebrate a birthday. You are in my prayers.

Sorry to hear of another ABC closing. Glad that your David books can be found through Indiana ABC. I was happy in the last few years to find them all at the Oregon ABC.

  3. In page 627 in dahveed 5, Nathan asks both niqmad and da heed to write the name of the city that Jebus should be renamed and you say in the book they both write Jerusalem - is that a mistake ? They both could not say that and Davheed be crowned king??

    1. Niqmad knew the name from the prophecy tablets that were in the library. Dahveed knew because it was revealed to him by Gad immediately after his coronation.

  5. Hi Terri! Your books have been a huge blessing to me, and I think it would be amazing to have your books available in Spanish. To that end, I would like to have a conversation with you about translating your books into Spanish. My email is timothypilli@yahoo.com, here are some relevant links

  6. Hi Terri, any updates on having Joseph available in e-book format again? I read that it was available at one time. I am waiting for this format as I would love to purchase.

  7. So good to see your post! Life has surely been busy! We have been keeping you in our prayers.
Also, is there any source for the Joseph books? I cannot find them anywhere. I have called all over to try and locate any. The only books currently available are A few scattered online for exorbitant prices..
If there is any way to get them let me know, and I would gladly purchase a number of books . My loaner copy of Joseph has seen many happy readers that now want their own copy.
Thanks for any info and blessings to you as you work of Dahveed 6.

    1. I was going to send you to Amazon, but you're right. Those prices displayed are crazy! Unbelievable that people would ask that much. I wish I could help you, but I won't give away my one and only copy. Obviously it's becoming a valuable and treasured keepsake. I will never part with it! :)

  8. What a blessing you have been, Terri! I know God has given you a gift for writing--for stringing words together--but also for insight and creative storytelling to recognize what you need as you research. Thank you for your willingness to share yourself through your fingertips.

Like everyone else, I'm hankering for Dahveed-6: "Yahweh's King." I'm praying for you as you write.

NOT like everyone else, I'm still looking for Dahveed-5: "Yahweh's General." Can't seem to find it anywhere.

A bookseller mentioned to me this morning that he thought you had self-published, and maybe I could get one from you?

Please feel free to email me at davidsonoriginals@gmail.com, and let me know how to proceed.

And thank you ever so much!

  10. Hello Terri,

I have wondered for quite a while how things were going with your dad. Thanks for the update. I'm glad you have been able to look after his needs. I'll keep him, and your family, in my prayers.

I'm thrilled to hear that you still plan to write Dahveed 6. I am so looking forward to it! I don't know how you do it, but I feel like I'm there in person watching whatever event you're writing about.

My husband and I have lost count as to how many times we've read the Dahveed series (and Joseph) out loud together. He loves hearing them read aloud. The stories seem to come alive. I enjoy them so much and find pleasure in their reread as much as the first time I read them.

I know how life can get in the way of our goals. We just learn to adjust our plans around the changes that pop up. I had plans of my own two years ago that got swept aside while I dealt with family issues, so I know somewhat how hard it can be to put things on the back burner. So, when you're ready, I know that you'll finish book #6. Personally, I think it may be the hardest for you to write because the story becomes so much more traumatic. Have you thought about doing a 7th book since there is so much left to tell of the story of King David?

Just know that you are loved as one of our favorite writers. We can hardly wait to read your spin on the story. God bless you and yours.

  12. Hello again!

We just finished volume two of Dahveed, again. Our 3rd volume looks like it has been thru the "mill." I finally had to get it rebound. It's in a ringed binder. You should see it! Haha!

But we're loving the story once again. God bless everyone who's enjoying the ongoing adventure with Dahveed, God's Warrior Leader.
