The hard part is over! I'm so happy to report that. Critique from advance readers has told me that this section of the book needs a lot of editing yet, but the story for it is out of my head! Writing the rest of the book, will, I hope, go much faster since it is a much smoother "plot journey." Please continue to keep me in your prayers. Thanks so much.
I most certainly will
ReplyDeleteWill Dahveed 3 be published again? Copies of it are going for $444 on Amazon and know some friends that are looking for it. Love your books really looking forward to #6. Will keep you in my prayers
ReplyDeleteYou can find all, or most of Terri's books in physical form from the ABC [Adventist Book Center] in Collegedale TN. I just bought the full set as a gift a couple months ago.
DeleteHi Terri! I love the Dahveed books, and I'm so glad to hear your drafting is going well.
ReplyDeleteSo far I've only read books 1 and 2. I'd been wanting to read Dahveed book 2 for months, and when I finally got it, I decided I couldn't read it until I had finished writing the first draft of my own novel, as I knew once I started reading Dahveed, Yahweh's Warrior, I wouldn't be able to put it down. And it was true; I read the entire book in one day. It was so captivating and inspirational. The imagery of growing into your purpose like a dragonfly leaving its old skin behind and unfurling its wings was lovely. I love the Johnathon-Dahveed dynamic; their friendship is so real and vibrant.
Keep on writing! I know the challenges of writing and writer's block, but I want to encourage you that you can do all things through Christ who gives you strength. 😁
Do you have any advice for a young writer trying to grow in writing? I'm really impressed by all your in-depth research and how you seamlessly wove it into the story. How do you do it?
Might find some used Dahveed 3 at Bookfinder.com
ReplyDeleteHi Mrs. Fivash,
ReplyDeleteI am currently writing a research paper for a class on your books. Would you be willing to be interviewed for that paper? It would be very short and would be by email or text, whatever you feel comfortable with. Thank you for whatever you can do!
