My Dad

On July 28, 2021, Dad fell and broke his femur just below the hip ball joint.  Surgery the next day stabilized the joint, but within 18 hours of surgery, Dad suffered multiple pin-point strokes.  He rallied from that enough to come home for care, with the possibility of rehab in the future.  But within hours of returning home, Dad lost all the ground he had gained.  With the help of hospice, he stayed comfortable and relaxed until his death on August 8, 2021.  To all those of you who have kept myself and my family in your prayers all the years we cared for Dad, thank you so much!  Those prayers were greatly appreciated.

  4. So sorry Terri. We were not created for this loss, I guess it is why it hurts so much. May you find comfort in your Savior's love and the many memories you have of your father.
