Just to let people know that my website crashed, and I have not yet
be able to get it working again. My apologies for the inconvenience.
The website crash was the latest in a series of computer issues
beginning with a hard drive disintegration that blossomed into an
operating system smash that led to a software rebuild, that spilled over
into non-recognition of the password for the web-site, that exploded
into a full web-site crash . . . I'll get things going as soon as I
can! God bless!
Terri.
I am so looking forward to your next volume on Dahveed! It must be really good and inspirational, or the enemy wouldn't be working this hard to keep you from finishing it up. I will be continuing to keep you in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteDo you have any new information about when we all might expect Dahveed 6 to be published? You didn't say anything about your progress on the book in your July 3rd comment. Thank you for your diligence and patience.
ReplyDeleteRight now, Dahveed 6 is on hold. I am ready to produce the manuscript, but first priority is taking care of my elderly father at this point. So, when God tells me it's time to write the last one on Dahveed, I'm ready!
ReplyDeleteTerri.
Thanks for your reply. I will be praying for your father. My elderly father passed away on April 4th of this year. He was 102 years old. :)
DeleteFor lack of a better place to ask, I've been wondering for years about the anointing scene in book 1. When Dahveed leaves the compound he runs his hand through his hair and then steadies himself on Eliab's shoulder. Eliab gets upset that his robe is spoiled. But the rest of the book talks about why it is so important that his brothers never learn of his anointing, and his anointing robe is hidden for that very purpose. But wouldn't Eliab have smelled the anointing oil if Dahveed got it on Eliab's robe?
ReplyDeleteYes, Eliab would have. That was deliberately put in the story. But he would not have been certain, especially since no one else seemed to notice anything and nothing else was ever said. But I wanted to plant the suspicion in Eliab's mind that Dahveed might be destined for higher things, which would help explain the animosity between the two that the Bible indicates. I hope this helps!
ReplyDeleteI would like to get Joseph for my ereader. It's not available for nook or Kindle. How come? (purpleMEF1@aol.com)
ReplyDeleteThe electronic rights to Joseph: A Story do not belong to me, but to the publisher. They removed the electronic format some time ago. Contact Review and Herald Publishing Association about it. Sorry I can't be more help!
